

About the Author
Olympia J. Atkinson is a freelance author, teacher, dancer, comedian, and documentary film producer. She is a veteran of the military services, having served 11 years in the United States Army and became a Supply Sergeant. After being inspired by Oprah Winfrey, She attended the University of Central Arkansas where she received a B.A. degree in Speech Communication. She also holds a M.A. degree in Teaching/Education. The daughter of educators, (both her Father and Mother) she has taught Elementary, Middle, and High School students. She also self-published her first children’s book, titled “Kendahl’s Plans” with Author House Publishing in 2010. Her second book titled, “First Place” was self-published by Amazon in 2023.
Olympia recently shot a documentary about her life story titled, “Olympia” in 2023. Olympia is also a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Olympia lives in Maumelle, Arkansas with her two children, Jordan and Taylor.
